Greetings all,

I'd hate for my first post to be a complaint, but I've got a ~3 month old Macbook and I recently noticed, when trying to insert a CD, that there is a bulge coming from underneath the drive that has "altered" the shape of the DVD slot enough that I cannot even insert a DVD! It no longer aligns properly with the slot in the notebook case.

There is no dent on the underside of the Macbook case, so I have no idea where this bulge is coming from. I Cannot make things look straight even temporarily by pushing down from the top (that bulge is REALLY there!).

There is a yellow tag that is visible underneath the computer case due to the separation caused by the bulge.

A picture, even a blurry one taken with my phone, is worth a thousand words...The yellow "tag" is clearly visible in both photos.

I had this happen once when I had an iBook serviced. With mine, the computer was improperly reassembled, and there was a screw jammed in between the keyboard and drive. So, I pulled up the keyboard and yanked out the screw.
