Hello all,
I've had my macbook for a couple weeks and for the most part it has been an enormous pleasure. So so so much faster and easier to use than my old 500mHz G3 ibook it isn't even funny. The only issue i've noticed only recently is that the seam between the gray background of the keyboard and the bottom casing (right above the firewire inputs etc) is separting a small amount. The gap isn't much to speak of, could maybe force a fingernail in without too much effort (didn't really want to try). The length of the area in question is about an inch or so long.
Question the first: Is this something that I should be concerned about...ie could the seam expand to such large proportions that small children may become lost within my computer or would the good folks at the apple store laugh at me for being concerned?
Secondly: If I do make the trip to the nearest Apple Store, do I need anything with me besides the receipt (like packaging or something)? The laptop was purchased online where it was a BTO with upgraded RAM and HD (needed the computer right away and didn't know at the time that it was so easily user upgradeable).
Thanks ahead of time for any thoughts or opinions about my little problem or advice on what to expect at the apple store (i've never actually been to one)
