Hi

Jus the other day , i was sitting at my desk and surfing the web with my new macbook while charging the battery, happily, and than i hear a little pop sound , didn know where it was coming from so i continue working ,and than i looked at the battery sign and it wasn't charging, i look at the light on the charger cable and it was off, and i looked under my laptop where there was those light that show how much of your battery has been charged and they were off too.

i tried another plug, and it didn made any difference, than i change the plug head figuring the fuse inside mite have poped so it mite work, and it didn work too. Anybody knows what should i do ? Is my charger dead? and please dun tell me i need to go and buy 100 USD charger from apple ?

It should be covered by warranty.

I got a free new one just because the wire came loose in the molded plug (that connects to the MBP) which caused the LED light to blink out from time to time.

The Apple warranty is 1 year minimum. I don't know if a 3rd party will just replace it on the spot (they should), but Apple will for free somehow. If you have an Apple Store nearby, go there.

Oh, bring the whole MB with you so they can make sure it is really the charger.
