My MacBook just started to, when charging, switch between 99/100% and the light switches between orange and green. As far as I knew it let it discharge till it gets to about 97% so it doesn't wear out the battery. I have already the SMC twice. Any ideas?

Don't worry, that's meant to happen. Read your Apple doc to get more info.

Basically, your laptop is trying to stop itself from frying your battery, so it doesn't constantly put power to your laptop. (Not a very good explanation I know, but the best I can give)

Sorry Guess I wasn't very clear in the first post. The battery is constantly putting power to my laptop, except for about a half of a second at 100% then drops to 99% and recharges it
