Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

I know this may sound strange and random, but after I finally was able to update my iPhone 4 with iOS5 my MacBook just up and died. It's totally unresponsive. I got a few messages saying "are you sure you want to shut down" over and over and now it won't turn on.
The green light is on (power cord) but nothing else works. Just wondering if this could possibly have anything to do with the iOS 5 update. I have no idea how but it seems to be too coincidental.
Any advice or opinion appreciated. Thanks!!

Anyone? Is it even possible that the update and my macbook having problems are related?

It is likely coincidental. There is nothing associated with updating an iPhone's software that would kill the MacBook.

Thanks for answering. That's what I was afraid of. I just thought it strange that it happened immediately afterwards. And I had problems updating my phone and it took hours. As soon as the phone updated I started getting those weird messages asking if I wanted to shut down, then, silence and dead.
