MacBook discolouration... (week 38)

...there was a little piece of the top case missing (right on the edge, about an inch long) that had snapped off.....but it was getting pretty dirty (the palmrest looked slightly brown etc).

So I took it to the Trafford Centre store and asked about the chip, he said it wasn't covered by warranty, but then said that it had discolouration and so took it in to replace the top case (I'm going picking it up tomorrow).

He didn't try cleaning it...but I guess I'll get a shiny new-looking laptop back....I thought the discolouration issues had been solved by week 38?

Had a week 19 and never had a problem hope the one coming tomorrow is the same way....

My week 38 is fine. I use a little Magic Eraser on it and it's all cleaned up.

I can imagine mine was probably the same, although I don't mind that they replaced it, as now I have a really clean laptop haha. I shall have to get myself some iKlean when I get some money! (Pay day is three weeks tomorrow )
