Got my new MacBook. Out of the box there is this white line at the top of the display glas.

Anyone else here with those lines or just bad luck?

I’ve got multiple MacBooks here and no lines.

First thing I’d try is rubbing it off. If it doesn’t come off and it’s an option for you, I’d take it to an Apple Store to complain.

Lots have it. Its left over anti reflective coating. Take something soft like a business card and slide it along the gap applying pressure to the edge of the Glass. It will rub away.

Thank you! Don’t know how to try it because I also don’t want to scratch the display.

There is also the opportunity to exchange it due to the rules of the reseller, but I already exchanged this MacBook more than one time before because I always got a MacBook with different issues. Really bad luck with those machines.

On the other hand I’m getting really tired of exchanging because it takes so much time…

return it!
it s/be flawless out of the box.
Apple don't care how many times you return sub-standard product.
they makes millions of devices annually for squllions of $ in profit.
little old me/you returning more than a couple of items is irrelevant to them.
on the bright side you may get a call from a 'consultant' seeking feedback and full of apologies ;) to a valued customer
