Macbook fan always when playing games

I have a brand new black macbook with 4 gigs of ram,2.2 ghz duo core.

As soon As I start a game like world of warcraft the fan comes on and stay on all the time.Is this normal?

Yep.. It's perfectly normal!
It's healthy for your MacBook too! Keeps the CPU cool and in tip top condition.
You should be more worried if the fan doesn't come on!

I second that. The fan is in there for a reason. Same thing with the fan in your car or truck.

I understand that its there for a reason but my Toshiba never did that...But if its normal its all cool....got a 3 years warranty on it anyways

Wierd, my Toshiba did it all the time. Soon as I press a time and hit the <Start> the fans would come on pretty loud, but soon as my popcorn was done, the fans would stop.

J/k but really.

yah, it's ok. My wife's MB does it too when my oldest gets on WoW to check his auctions (he's a greedy tauren!)
