anyone have the fan go really loud while running win XP pro on bootcamp? the fan just like went crazy, louder then my notebook cooler.

You might try downloading a program that can monitor and automatically control your fan speeds on the fly.
There's a wonderful little freeware program called SpeedFan that I've used for years on Windows computers. You can download it here. I don't know whether or not it will work with Mac hardware, but most likely it will.
If you do try it, don't set it to start automatically until you can test it yourself to make sure that it works.
There's always a risk that software might not be able to control hardware properly when neither was made for the other, as in the case of Windows and Mac hardware, but often times the problems can be remedied with more software!
