After I applied the firmware 1.0 I can no longer connect to any encrypted network. Previously I managed to connect to my Airport express if I switched it from WEP to WPA.

Now it is totally hopeless.
Plus if I run Airport admin utility it shows absolutly no airport in my house. Even do I have 3, original airport (turning off its encryption allows me to connect), a Airport express that does not work with either WEP or WPA personal and a D-Link using WEP
Interestingly enough all of them work perfectly with my intel imac!

Help!

Thanks

/Peter

I don't recall them releasing firmware for the MacBook. Are you talking about the MacBook Pro, and downloaded the firmware for it, or the MacBook, and downloaded the firmware for the Pro?

My bad.

I meant the MAcbook Pro so the firmware I downloaded was correct. Actually it was from Softwareupdate function.

Same thing happened to a colleague of mine after applying the firmware update.

Not sure if he has fixed it yet. I'll get the details tommorrow.

Please let me know, I have reset and rebooted everything! No avail.
I can only get my original (1st gen) airport to wrk without encryption.

Thanks
