A friend of mine is a first year in a MBA program. Her syllabus has reccommended using a IBM Thinkpad. After ordering two of them, they both got the blue screen of death and had hardware failures. She then convinced them to issue her a full refund.
She uses a mac a lot and I explained that for her applications, she can load windows XP using Boot Camp, run it natively and install all of the applications she'd normally be able to run on her IBM but she's a little nervous. Is there anything anyone can think of that will be an issue is she gets a mac or a macbook pro? (She'll be saving about $800 and a hardware headache if she decides to go mac)...
The only thing that comes to my mind is using the 'apple' key on the keyboard instead of the 'alt' key on the IBM.
