Macbook & Formac display (4:3)

I'm almost at the point of buying a formac display to hook up to my Macbook.Just wanted to check though, that it would run OK, as the Macbook screen is widescreen, while the display I want is a 4:3. (will probably buy a 20" formac, so would have 1600x1200 resolution- is that too much for MB to handle???)

"formac display" uhm.. if you just mean an external monitor like a crt or lcd it won't matter what aspect ratio nor the resolution just so long as you stay under a 30" display. 1600x1200 is plenty doable.

Sorry, I did mean an external monitor, I should have put 4:3 external monitor in the title. Anway, thanks for fast reply
