So I just installed 2GB of RAM in my 2.0 CD Macbook, and its running extremely hot right now. It never used to run this hot, its noticeable to the touch. The RAM tests out ok, the computer recognizes it, but the heat is a bit alarming. Is this normal?

Also, I tried to google this, and this is a total newbie question, but the RAM chip had stickers on it (not the bar code/warranty stickers). Am I supposed to remove these before installing?

It's not likely that the RAM is the source of the heat. DDR2 memory runs very cool. (relative to DDR and PC133) Are you sure that there isn't a process running crazy in memory?
