I am considering purchasing a Macbook. However, I hear much talk about how the graphics are not so hot on the Macbooks. How true is this? Also, it seems that reviewing many of the threads posted here, the Macbooks seem to be having a lot of issues with the hardware and software. Would i be better off with a MBP? Thanks.

The onboard video is perfectly fine for the vast majority of users.

I've had NO issues whatsoever with anything I've tossed at the MB, although I'm no "power user" and don't do tonnes with Photoshop, or Gaming.

No excessive heat, no hardware issues at all. Then again, I just got mine in February :D so I'd hope they got all the bugs out in the previous revisions!

Perfectly adequate for most tasks. You can even play games on it, up to a point.

Don't use a thread count on MR to determine whether any piece of hardware is good or bad. Most people who have problems post them on forums but people who don't, don't.

Unless you're planning on playing games on your MB, it won't be an issue for you.
