Hi All,
I have Macbook 13 Retina 2014 Model. It has started Hanging/Freezing/Stutters Frequently after upgrade to High Sierra. I remember it happened on Sierra but only rarely. Now it happens every few minutes.
It works fine generally. I am a developer, so database are running, ides are running and browsers with multiple tabs. The stutter/hanging happens every few minutes.
When the stutter/freez happens I see "displaypolicyd" process running in the "Activity Monitor". It uses around ~100 CPU. This is true every time the system hangs.
I found thread related to permission but, the repair tools are not available anymore they are removed in recert version of Mac OS.
I tried opening it in Safe Mode. No affect.
This is really bugging me, I have asked the same question on Apple Forum but there is now reply/solution yet.
Let me know if any other information required.
