macbook hard drive upgrade.

Hey guys,
I have a 2.0GHZ White MacBook, 2GB Ram, and 60GB hard drive. I order 100GB 72000 Seagate hard drive. I got the drive, removed my old drive and there is a problem. Its not the normal 2.5 inch hard drive connection (it does'nt have normal 43 pin orientation). What do I do now? Is there an adaptor I can get from some where? I ordered it from newegg.com

Sounds like you've purchased a parallel ATA (PATA) drive. The MB uses serial ATA (SATA). You should return it and buy the proper type.

Macbooks use 2.5 inch SATA hard drives, it sounds like maybe you bought the older PATA drive. It's not going to fit if that's the case. You would have to return your new drive and replace with a SATA unit.
