Hi everyone!

Unfortunately at the weekend my MacBook HDD failed, and I had to get it replaced (thank the lord for Applecare). Luckily I had my iTunes library backed up on my external hard drive, but stupidly I didn't have the xml file, or whatever stores the ratings etc. backed up as well.

Therefore on my new library I don't have any of my playcounts or ratings, something which I am a bit upset about because it has been a very long project of mine. Luckily everything is still in place on my iPod, so...is there any way of getting the ratings and playcounts from my iPod back onto iTunes? I'm guessing the easiest way is to just transfer everything off my iPod onto my computer and then deleting the current library? Something I don't particularly want to do, but if there is any other way of doing it I would love to find out!

Cheers.
