Hi there folks,

Recently purchased a MacBook with 80gig HDD - same as my old iBook G4 and all was good in-terms of "space".

Unfortunately it transpires I'm in need of much more leg room with regards to the HDD, I'm kind of guessing Universal apps. take up more space!?!

Anyway, I'm after either a 160 or 200gig HDD to upgrade -- but my question is as to where I can purchase such an item from in the UK, I seem to be struggling to find anything beyond 120gig [Dabs UK].

Many thanks in advance... ;)

The biggest I've seen was 160GB I think, can't find one now though. There was a 250GB announced recently (Fujitsu?), should be out soon.

EDIT:
Would this one be suitable.

Many thanks uchuff -- I'd order one straight away, but my only concern is that the one review of this particular drive states that it's somewhat larger than the majority of 2.5" SATA drives.

Unforuntately I don't have the correct tools to hand to be able to crack open my MB to "measure" the dimensions of the current drive.

If anybody out there [once again!!] could possibly let me know the dimensions of the existing MB HDD or indeed if this particular drive would indeed fit I'd be more than gratefull!

And once again many thanks in advance... ;)
