macbook/istat nano

istat nano says that it cant find a fan or temp sensors please help

have you tried iStat Pro?...if so, does it say the same thing?

i have the same problem - no idea why it can't display the temp's - everything else works fine.

i'll give istat pro a try and see if that makes a difference

you have to have a temperature sensing program installed; i.e., CoreDuoTemp.

ahhhhhhhh..

so installed coreduotemp, and it still didnt work..

so i rebooted and it's piking up the temp now

I just downloaded miniStat2 by http://www.shockwidgets.com/ on my MBP C2D, and it seems to work fine with temperature and fan speed.

i somehow feel those temps are not accurate at all.

i use fancontrol, and their temps seem mcuh more accurate.

Use Hardware Monitor 4. It's the best out there.
