Is there anyway to link iTunes to an external hd but keep its root directory within my Macbook? For X-mas i will be getting a 1TB HD.....and I have a pretty extensive movie collection that not all I want on my internal HD....however I love the fact that you can add artwork and descriptions to your movies when you load them into Itunes.....and I want that for the movies on my external....however if I add them to my library from my external they will just copy over into the Itunes root directory on my internal.....is there anyway so it reads from both locations and doesn't pull everything on to my internal when loaded into itunes?
