Hey, I recently came into possession of a 30gb ipod video after my friend broke the lcd screen. I replaced the screen and the ipod works now, but when I plug it into my macbook it slows down the macbook for a little bit (especially itunes) until the ipod pops up as a removable disk on the desktop. My friend used the ipod on her pc, but normally my macbook can read pc ipods. In this case Itunes never recognizes the ipod and I really want to restore it but do not know how to do so if it doesn't show up in itunes. Does anyone know how I can go about doing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!:)
