Macbook keep sleeping

Hey all,

I have a macbook pro, purchased fall 2016 running Sierra. I have downloads that I'd like to run overnight, but my computer keeps going to sleep. I feel like I have all the settings correct - have a look at the attached screenshot of my energy saver settings. I do have a hot corner for putting the display to sleep, but one wouldn't think this causes the entire computer to sleep. Any ideas as to what may be going on?

Try this:
1. Set display sleep to "never"
2. At night, use the "brightness down" fkey to darken the screen
No promises, worth a try.

I'll give it a shot, but I hope you agree that putting the display to sleep should have zero consequences on weather or not the computer sleeps, yes?

When needed, I did as Trevor mentioned and kept the Mac plugged in. worked for me!

Also, select: Prevent computer from sleeping automatically when the display is off.
