Macbook Keyboard Cover Cracked by Hinge

Hello, after one glorious year of ownership I noticed today that my keyboard cover is cracked right by the left side hinge for the screen. I looks like it got caught on the hinge when opening. :confused:
Has anyone else had this issue? I thought is was pretty weird.:apple:
