U.K.
i've had my macbook for a couple of months now, and i'm still not sure about the keyboard.

the buttons feel really delicate, and some are starting to slightly warp.

is the keyboard and mouse pad something that can be replaced just be changing those parts, or is it more complicated?

it looks as if the keyboard/mouse is actually built into the case, meaning that if one or the other goes wrong, then its pretty much a whold new case (ie new computer), that is needed. :(

anyone had a problem like this on their macbooks?

maybe you should call applecare or take your macbook to the apple store and have them take a look. i have a mbp so i wouldn't know if the keyboard or trackpad on a macbook can be replaced individually.
