I've had my MacBook for about two months now, and this is the first time something like this has happened. I now have a dark, thin line, about .5 cm long and less than 1mm thick on the upper left corner of my screen (it's right below the "Edit" in the Menu on Safari.

I know this wasn't there before, because I would have noticed it.

Is there an application I can run, or anything I can do to get rid of the line? Should I send it back to Apple?

I think you can google and search how to fix it...

But, the best option would probably be sending it back to Apple.

Hmmm, did it start as a kind of dark spot and has steadily grown into a line?

I have this issue on my MBP SR screen. It started off as just a dim spot on the very right side of the screen. It's grown into a "crack" of dim pixels across the screen now.

There are also two spots of "bright" pixels on the left side.

I'm waiting to get a work computer before I send it in, but it seems to only be getting worse.
