When I power on the macbook it takes sometime to load. If I restart, it takes less. How can I make the power on load time shorter?

Also another tip.

Occasionally after a firmware update to the macbooks & mb pro's.

The default startup operating system is deselected, meaning that it can take a few extra seconds for the apple logo to start up.

So go back into system preferences and select startup disk, and reselect Macintosh HD OSX.

:)

Usually when you've had your computer on for awhile and then reboot it (either shutting down or restarting) it takes awhile to boot up. But if you shut it down often, it shouldn't change much. I really don't know why this happens, but that's my experience...
