Does anybody know where i can get a Macbook (13") Logic board in the UK (new or 2nd hand, doesnt matter).

I managed to kill mine when changning the RAM, the little levers that you move that wedge against the logic board itself to pull the RAM out, one of them "slipped" up above the edge of the board scraping over a load of the traces and well... "killed" it.

I have voided my warrenty however so was wondering if theres anywhere i can get myself a replacement unofficially. I've looked over Ebay for weeks and not come accross one worth buying.

A quick Google for a MacBook logic board revealed this site in the US. It looks like you can pick up a replacement MackBook logic board for $450, which isn't a bad price given the current Pound to Dollar conversion rate.

You might want to check on the price for them to install it as well, but then you'd have to ship your MacBook off to the US which is probably not desired.
