Good morning,

I have a Macbook 16.2'' M1 Max for 4 months and I have 4 external monitors connected. Every tens of seconds or every few minutes the monitors (randomly) blink in the sense of turning off (the screen goes black) and turning on. They are all connected via usb-c to hdmi hubs. I bought new cables, checked, replaced with others and still the same. I checked on a desktop computer and there is no problem and no flicker. This is only on mac. Does anyone have an idea what could be the cause or how to fix it?

Thanks in advance,
Regards,

I'm curious what happens if you connect all four disiplays directly to your MBP (3 x TB + HDMI), without going through the HDMI hubs. If all those work, that would eliminate the issue being the Mac or the monitors.

It's possible the HDMI hubs don't work well with the Mac, and that what you may need to do is directly connect three of the four monitors into the Mac (using 2 x TB + HDMI), plug a TB dock into the last TB port, and connect the last monitor plus any remaining devices to the TB dock.

I got the tip from the other forum to check if monitor flicker when application are open as a full screen and YES. Monitor flicker only when applications are open as a fullscreen. I found similar issues.

There are similar issues and none knows what really case a problem. I don't know if this is a bug or what?
