OK, so a quick look at this forum would give them impression that MacBooks/MacBook Pros are absolutely riddled with issues and you'll be lucky if you manage to get your laptop out of the box without it exploding in your face, leaving you pulling shrapnel from your puffy fishlips for years to come.
This makes me a sad panda (especially since I'm getting a MacBook this year).
I've got to believe that some of you are completely and utterly satisfied with your Apple notebook, so if you are, how about chipping in here. I know that the very nature of this board will see more problems arise than success stories, but I reckon a topic like this won't hurt.

As somebody who has used MacBooks numerous times when visiting Mac enthusiast friends of mine (or Cardiff's "little shop that could" Apple reseller) I absolutely love the MacBooks. Also, I'm yet to see one exploding battery and the black MacBook doesn't look that bad, despite some people saying it's a fingerprint magnet.
