My Macbook Magsafe Charge Light is going back and forth between orange and green. I just did a re-calibration with the battery.

Any ideas??

Make 100% certain you haven't mixed up the Macbook and Macbook Pro's power supply...

Take out the battery. Does it stay green?

I had no idea that those were different. I have used a Pro's power supply many times with a non-Pro. Is that bad?

It is usually frowned upon. As to whether or not it is bad can be debated.

The MacBook has a 60W power brick that is square in shape. The MacBook Pro has a 85W power brick that used to be rectangular (read: not-square) but now is square.

Thanks for the info! :)

I had this problem. It just got worst as time went on. So I went to Apple and they replaced it for free.

I think it has something to do with a loose connection in the wiring, it becomes loose after a while.

Not sure it is the same though my iBook does that, it flickers all the time though it appears it is only the light, it does not affect charging at all.
