Hi. I'm in New York for vacations and wanted to buy more ram for my Macbook Pro. Since I have an international credit card, it would have to be in some store that I could walk-in and buy it, like B & H. The problem is that they are out of stock on the brand that I'm after, which is Crucial Memory. I wanted to get 2 x 2gb. Does anybody know another New York store that sells ram from this brand or from another good brand at reasonable prices ( please don't tell me Apple store  ). Thanks.

Good luck. There's not much that's sold at good prices within the city. I mail-order just about everything. That said, you might try J&R downtown, tekserve, & digital society. Alternatively, you might try craigslist. Because there's so many people in the city, CL is a veritable smörgåsbord.

Thanks for the reply. I went to Digital Society and they had the Crucial 2 gb ram for $ 149, the price that I was after. Thanks again!
