Infared Keyboard
Entire surface is touchpad, dedicated bottom area clicks, optimized for multi-touch

1 FW
NO ETHNT
NO MODEM
NO VGA/HDMI out

I've seen it on like 3 sites, I'm not leaning towards true though
I got the picture link and bookmarked it, but as for the actual sites... not sure.

Do you work for Apple?
If so, I hope your boss does not find this out.
If not, nice try.

No. No. Calling that something out of '99 is an insult to 1999.

That looks more like a PowerBook 140c than something that Apple would create today.

I'll humor you.

1. It's PLASTIC.
2. It's BLACK.
3. It's HUGE.
4. It's ALMOST BEIGE.
5. No Blu-ray. Apple's not doing that. :D
6. The screen is too small to not be touch.
7. It's HIDEOUS.

What is it with you and your dislike with Blu-ray?

It's not me. Apple just doesn't seem to want it, and I don't blame them. Besides the worthless battery life, companies keep changing the specs for hardware. There's a new laser classified as part of the Blu-ray group that can take 12x media and 100GB disks. This laser is not in current Blu-ray players, so anything that Apple would add now is instantly obsolete within its OWN SPEC.

Can you imagine the class-action lawsuit that would somehow only hit Apple about this?

Im actually not looking forward to the migration to bluray (i see optical dying in 5+ years anyway) but the ONLY glimpse of bluray i can see is that apple has been on blurays "board" since 2005 i believe.

But apple is well aware that bluray isnt selling well and its "advantages" dont nearly outweigh its cons (mainly battery draw) as far as portables go

Well, Apple could be waiting for those.

why would apple have been waiting for something that just has been announced? (i dont think its even near production yet)

its my understanding that companies dont base products off of what they hope will be available, they KNOW what they are getting and they use it if they wish

they use it when it is ready. They might be one of the first companies to use it. You might never know. :)
