Macbook, monitor- plastic cover problem

I recently had to take the plastic cover to get some water off of it, but no i cannot get the cover back on. has anyone else had to take that cover off, and did you get back on without sending it apple

I'd head over to ifixit.com
They'll be able to help you out, they have part's you need, and they may even have a guide on how to do it.
