What i have:
-2.2SR blackbook
upgrade(s): 1 x 1GB crucial ram
Picture1-8.png

iStat / activity monitor:
(firefox, thunderbird, itunes, adium running)
Picture2.png

Problem(s):
-slight buzzing sound from top left corner
-fan sound audible (very quiet room) @ ~2000rpm (using smcfancontrol)
-low "beep type" sound every X amount of seconds/minutes from lower right side next to touchpad

Now, are these "problems" actually normal? or should i get it checked out?

I'm a very noise sensitive person. I ended up exchanging mine two times, but concluded that these are normal. Those are noticible I suppose when you put your ear 'right next' to the top left corner of your keyboard, aren'y they? I fugure that it's just me who's so sensitive, not my MB being too loud.

If you don't hear much in normal situation, you should be okay. Another good way is to compare yours to your friend's.

buzzing? if its the right word, go exchange it. It should sound like a blow dryer running on low speed. ANd in regards to your Mac, dude you have 1+1 ram crucial memory, you do know it shows 1.5 not 2 right lol?

If that "buzzing" noise is anything like the infamous CPU whine on early MacBooks, then you should give ShhMBP a try. I've been using it on my first-gen MacBook for about a year and it does exactly what the title implies: it "shhs" the MB(P). :)

And GeneKam, he says he put one 1GB chip in, in addition to the 512MB stock RAM.
