Had my Macbook for a week or two now and generally very pleased with it. One thing that is bothering me though, is that when the fans are on minimum (1800 or so RPM) I swear it used to be silent, whereas now it sounds like the fans are on all the time even at 1800 RPM. Has anyone else experienced this? I think reading these forums has made me a little paranoid actually ;).

Check that the cooling vent is not covered by a piece of clear tape.

Dave :)

I've found this to be true of my macbook recently, only mine is about 3 months old. It's quite strange, but I compensate by turning the music up. :D

Yeah I'm not overly bothered as I normally have music on anyway and I'm still really enjoying using it. Just a bit strange.
