OK here we go I have a code to get £56 to use in the next 14 days of a macbook making the price under £700 for the plain whit one!
Or should I wait to see if apple drop the price as the core2 chip are now out and standard core will get cheaper:confused:

There is always something better around the corner, but I don't think price drops are likely. Since even the MacBook Pros didn't get an upgrade yesterday, I think the MacBooks won't see any changes for a while. There's a chance that Apple Expo Paris next month could bring upgrades across the board (iMacs, MacBook Pros, MacBooks, Mac minis), but that's out of your time frame and the MacBooks would be on the lower end of probable models to see the updates then anyway.

I think you'll be fine to go with the current system with the coupon.

Exactly, take advantage of the discount while you can. I don't think, and a lot of others don't either, that there will be an update to the MacBook for at least a few months. Plus Macs have good resale values in case you want to upgrade when they come out.

I agree with both the above posters. MB update is very highly unlikely in the near future. Use the coupon and get it ASAP and save yourself from all the trouble and irritation you might have waiting for the meroms/price cut.
