The conclusion is really dumb, IMO. Saying that notebook with essentially two 2GHz processors is "probably more than adequate" for "light computing" is madness. The MacBook is a monster in every way EXCEPT for high-end 3D performance.

"if you are a power mad user like me, the 13 [inch] MacBook's slow integrated graphics chip is a show stopper"--that's just silly. Your uses have to be something that would push a GPU.

Things that are not affected by the GPU: Commercial movie editing and high-end software development and web site development and professional audio recording/mixing.

Things that are affected by the GPU: high-end 3D games and 3D modelling/animation.
