So, the question of all questions, shall I buy a Macbook or a Macbook Pro. Mostly I'll be using it for Aperture and some Photoshop. But I'll also be using it for running AutoCAD in Windows, either through BootCamp or Parallels(any comments on that would also be nice or any alternatives that you call fancy). So, which would be the best for running those applications?

Also, I'm coming from a Powerbook G4 which Aperture runs, ok, I guess on.

If you're using Aperture, get the MBP. Aperture on a normal Macbook runs pretty bad, as Aperture relies more on graphics processor than anything.
 
MacBook Pro

Don't get a MacBook. It might actually be a step down from your PowerBook-- depending on how old that computer is--thanks to the very poor graphics chip.
