My puppy recently chewed the crap out of my install disks that came with my MacBook, and I was wondering if there's any chance if I go into the Apple Store tomorrow that they'll have some replacements there for me? Or am I SOL?

Thanks, guys!

From memory, Apple will send you copies for about US$10 if you contact them via AppleCare. I don't know if this applies for standalone stores too.

Just went through this a few weeks ago.

Apple Stores don't stock the OS X DVDs. You will have to call AppleCare and they will ship you one set. It will take approximately three weeks, as the Canadian office doesn't stock these either. They have to come from California.

I actually went to the Yorkville store, went to one of the pre-screen people and signed up to see a Genius. After waiting an hour and forty-five minutes, it was finally my turn and was told the only way to get replacements is to call AppleCare. Nice people (NOT!!!) They should have trained their sign-up people what services are available. A complete waste of time. I complained, but it was no use.

So, call AppleCare and have a lot of patience.
