I have a Macbook Pro 10,1 (Early 2013) and it has an Opencore Legacy Launcher with MacOS Sequoia installed. The problem that started occurring in Sequoia is that if you right-click an app in the dock, it'll freeze. Sometimes it'll unfreeze by itself after waiting for like half an hour, but most of the time it won't. And while it's frozen, you can't type at all. Force quitting the app does nothing. The only reliable solution is to restart the computer which is time-consuming and inefficient. Is there a way to solve this?

I already did. I launched the OCLP app and auto-updated it to the latest version. Then I reinstalled both root patches and OCLP patches to the EFI.

I have had lots of problems with a 5,1, and I think I have resolved them via lots of drive disk checks. I wonder what your drive is like, as new ones for a 10,1 are cheap and easy to install.

I am no expert, but a clean install from scratch seems sensible. I was running 2.01 fine until I tried to import my old system information, and then things went bad. I am now going via clean installs and selectively importing things via time machine. Taking notes about what import caused the problems.
