How can I opgrade my Macbook Pro 13-inch Early 2011? And how much is it possable to opgrade? Maybe it is a idea to install a newer Mac OS(on a new harddisc?)?

The 2011 is a great machine. I loved mine.

In regards to your question, the best thing you can do for your Mac is replace the HDD with an SSD drive. Outside of that, I wouldn't put any more money into the Mac.

If I were in your Mac shoes, I would sell the 2011 for what I could get for it, and then use that money to get an M1 MBA.

I agree adding a larger capacity SSD would be good. If you can upgrade your RAM, if you haven't done so already... this is something else you can think about if you are not looking to sink in a lot of money towards a new laptop.

I have a 2012 13-inch MBP with a 1TB SSD and 16GB RAM which I recently updated to MacOS 11.2.3 and I haven't had any issues running the new OS yet...although by today's standards my MBP isn't lightening fast, it is still plenty fast enough for me with what I use a laptop for... it all depends on what your goals for your computer are...

Depending on how much you love that machine kicking up the RAM to cool 16GB and dropping in a modern SSD. Don't forget to enable TRIM on the SSD:

The other thing I will point out is that the motherboard and chip in there is an Intel Sandy Bridge motherboard and chip. The 2012 MBPs had the successor which are Ivy Bridge. Ivy bridge had two big advantages over Sandy Bridge, PCI-Express 3.0 and a die shrink which reduces power consumption. This upgrade is possible in your chassis but it's a bit of work. Fun work if you ask me but maybe not for everyone.
