So, I buy this used MBP 13 (medio 2010) with a bulging battery for next to nothing. With great force I open it up and have the bulging battery removed. Afterwards it boots all fine, albeit very slowly. It works like that for a couple of days until it completely stops working. Now, the light on the charger doesn't go green when I plug it in and no matter what I do (different charger, different power outlet etc), it won't show any sign of life.

I need some sound advice here. Have I completely killed it? Is the missing battery the issue or are we talking about a DC in board replacement (not sure I can perform that myself):

Thanks in advance!
