Hello,

I have a macbook pro retina 2013 and in the last few weeks the laptop makes very strange noise. Sometimes it stops and let me work but sometimes I just need to walk away as the sounds won't stop buzzing, crackling. Just uploaded a video to make it easier to understand.
Do you know how I can solve this issue? Do you think if I will change the speakers this issue will be solved?

Thank you so much

I don’t think that sound is coming from the speakers. Does it respond to volume adjustments? If it does, it’s probably software. I’d suggest backing up your data, then wiping and reinstalling the operating system.

sometimes it does but most of the time shows the general prohibition sign when I try to volume up or down.

Then it’s probably software related. That’s why I think a reinstall might be necessary.

When I mentioned that I didn’t think it was a speaker sound, I thought you might have some weird fans.

Reinstall, or at least go and see if it happens in a New User or in Recovery Mode. If no on both points, it's likely software. If yes on both points, it's likely logic board. If half and half, that's interesting...

I can distinctly hear a dog barking in that vid... Seems pretty clear. If the speakers were damaged in some way, I don't think the barking would be identifiable.
If you get the "prohibited" symbol when trying to adjust volume, then I also would say that you have a system software problem of some kind. A reinstall of your macOS system may get you working properly again.
If not --- Boot to your built-in Diagnostics. Run that, and check for trouble codes.

I'll try to reinstall macOS system again and I'll let you know. Thanks
