ive had my MacBook Pro 2016 13in with TB mid tier model with 16GB ram for about a year and a half now. my battery life has been subpar throughout the time I've had it with only 113 cycles on the battery. I usually get around 3-5hrs of battery life with very light us such as safari 2-3 tabs, iMessages, podcast on iTunes at 30% volume and screen brightness at usually 40-50%. if I'm using safari on one of the sites my school uses students to do hw (which relies heavily on flash player and flash UI) my Mac will go from 100% to 20% within 1 1/2 hours and also run cpu at full speed and fans kick on. I suspect this is due to the power draw of flash, my 13 in MacBook Air 2014 will run on that flash site for at least 5 hours without fans turning on. am I alone in this?
by the way I'm running latest OS and have already clean installed Mac once before and no apparent change.
- there are no apps that are using unusual amount of system resources
- Mac at idle is usually around 4-7 watts
