My MacBook Pro occasionally made a rather soft cracking noise (similar to the sound of a plastic bottle being squeezed) when one moved it or opened or closed the lid.
Therefore I exchanged the device at the Apple Store. However, the new one does exactly the same.
I read that this is a very common issue and more of a cosmetic problem than a real issue.
What are your opinions? Should I exchange the device a second time?
