Hello! I have been using the MBP14 M1 Pro (basic) for about a week, and the heating of the places where my hands lie - to the left and right of the touchpad, prevents me from working.

However, the batteries in the Macs Fan Control program do not get warmer than 33 degrees Celsius, but my hands are hot.

This is uncomfortable and the palms sweat: this was not the case on the MBA M1 and MBP M1. Do I have a defective laptop??

Are you leaving it connected to the charger all the time?

If so, try DISCONNECTING the charger. See if it cools off.

This problem is not all the time of use, but when it is, then it is on charging and without charging.
