Hello,

My first message on the forum. I bought a Macbook Pro 14 yesterday and returned it today. I had been using a Macbook Pro M1 for a long time with pleasure and no problems with my eyes.

Then I bought the Macbook Pro 14, especially trusting the Rtings review, but almost 5 minutes after I started using the product, my eyes started burning and losing focus. The next morning I turned the device on again, but again my eyes started to feel uncomfortable after a short time.

The person I spoke to at the Apple Store told me that several people like me had returned the product for this reason.

I had to buy a Macbook Air M2 and everything is fine now.

Notebookcheck.net does PMW test so look at their reviews of the machines and you’ll get your answer.

There can be multiple reasons for screen flickering/blinking issues on Mac. Some common reasons for the issue are in-display resolution, inappropriate working of Energy Saver, etc.

However, you can try to resolve the Mac screen flickering/blinking issue following the below quick fixes:

Fix 1: Reboot your MacBook.
Fix 2: Update your MacBook.
Fix 3: Deactivate automatic graphics switching
Fix 4: Deactivate True Tone
Fix 5: Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on Mac.
Fix 6: Reset NVRAM/PRAM on your MacBook.

Hope this will help you out!!!
