macbook pro 14 vertical line

hey. got my mpb pro about a month ago. two weeks later noticed a vertical line on the right side of the screen. i was going to go to the apple service, but two days later its gone. about three more days later also noticed weird sounds while moving the lid and pushing to the bottom of the macbook, i called the apple service and they tell me that they don t make cosmetic repairs, even for a fee. today this line back. i m going to go to the store again. can they refuse to the warranty repair because of this weird sounds? mac wasn t damaged.

take a closer look at the area to the right of the camera. it is barely visible, but if you look closely you can see

I see the line you mean. Your picture is rotated 90 degrees left, so it appears horizontal.
I suggest check different background image resolutions and display resolutions, to check it is not just aliasing.

Ah ok, see it, I think. Did you try different color backgrounds to see if it still appears? Try a flat/solid color background, like white or light gray
