Looking to see what I can sell this for.

Late 2016 15” with 16gb ram, 1 tb ssd, i7 2.9 ghz, Radeon Pro 460, Space grey with no scratches or damage that I can see.

The highest offer I’ve gotten is $1700 on resell sites like Craigslist. Highest offer I’ve seen at more official stores are like $1300 to $1500 or even lower.

I bought it used a while ago for $2500 and was hoping to get at least $2000 out of it.

Should I take a $800 hit or keep waiting?

That is entirely up to you, though I think your expectations are a little high. One thing for sure .. while you wait it isn't getting any younger.

Take the $1700. It's a 16GB model with 4C/8T. We have 32GB 6C/12T machines now.
