Hi,
As the title says I got a brand new (at the time) 15inch Macbook pro in late 2014. I haven't had any issues with the laptop at all until yesterday. It literally out of noewhere shuts off completely. I would be watching netflix/ have microsoft word open - anything and the screen would go blank and it will compeltely turn off. Once I turn it on, it won't show any "system didn't shut down properly..blah blah blah, crash report or something". It will boot-up normally as if I had shut it down myself before.
Did anyone else experience this? What can cause this issue? I don't think its a software issue, but as I type this I am making a bootable USB and re-installing MAC OSX all over again from the scratch. I hope that fixes it but I still have a feeling its more of a hardware issue.
The time-difference between when it restarts is totally random, at times it will restart in LESS than a minute, or at times it will be fine for an hour or two and then restart.....never seen anything like this
